Radon Inspections

Have your home’s radon levels tested.Radon is a dangerous, odorless, carcinogenic gas that can be present in any home. It is responsible for roughly 21,000 cases of lung cancer each year. During the naturally occurring breakdown of elements in the ground, radon is the gas produced during the radioactive decay process. This gas can then enter into the home. Radon can be found in any home no matter if it is new construction or an older home.

Testing is the only way to determine the radon levels in a home. Have a qualified technician measure your radon levels to determine if radon is present. We recommend radon testing as an addition to any home inspection, or as a stand-alone test for the safety of you and your family.

Termite Inspections

Termite Inspections Termites can cause serious damage to a home if left undetected and untreated. Even though termites cause over 1 billion dollars of damage to homes each year, most home owner’s insurance policies do not cover termite destruction. It’s important to have a home inspected to avoid unknown termite infestation.

Our certified home inspectors know where to look and which signs mean possible termite damage. We will check all areas inside the home and outside. We know to look for signs such as pinholes in walls, damaged or wood that sounds hollow, and other signs that with our experience we know are signs of termites. A licensed termite inspector will complete form NPMA-33, required by most mortgages.

Sewer Camera Inspections

With a sewer camera inspection, we will be able to provide peace of mind by diagnosing any issues or any possible issues that could occur with the home’s pipes.

Do I need to be present and attend the home inspection?

You don't have to attend, but it is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn about your house. We prefer that you do attend and follow the inspector throughout the inspection. If you can't attend, please feel free to contact your inspector over the phone with any questions you may have about the home or the report. Your real estate agent may also be able to assist you with questions as well.

How long will it take to receive the report?

The report is completed at the office later the same day as the inspection. This not only allows All Around Home Inspections to provide a professional and detailed report, but it also allows you to continue on with your day as the report can take anywhere from 1-2 hours.

Is the home inspection the same as an appraisal?

NO! A professional home inspection is an examination of the current condition of your prospective home. It is not an appraisal- which determines market value, or a municipal inspection-which verifies local code compliance. A home inspector should not pass or fail a house, but rather describe its physical condition and indicate what may need repair or replacement.
